Victorian Velvet Party

So the challenge for this was to create a card using 3 items in my stash that I haven't used before. Although they were fairly recent additions to my supplies (1-3 weeks old) I still hadn't gotten around to playing with
them. The design is fairly simple, but I am really happy with how it turned out.

Replicating this card is fairly easy, The only tip I have for you is in stamping the sentiment. I first inked the stamp all over with a Studio G mini inker, then I inked the sides of the stamp with the Victorian Velvet to create the gradient tonal quality.

 The virgin supplies are:
 Distressed Ink- Victorian Velvet
Tim Holts Adirondack Alcohol Ink Applicator
 Paper Studio Flowers
Party Just Because wood block stamp.

Other supplies used:

Polka Dot Embossing Plate
Paper Studio Vintage Brads
Paper studio White Paper

  1. Very pretty! I like the clean and simple style and the way you matched the colours. Thank you for playing along with the Daring Cardmakers this week.
